Growing up today isn’t easy. Children face pressure from school, friendship ups and downs, the pull of social media, and their own self-doubts. Sometimes, even the most capable young person can feel anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves. That’s where coaching steps in.
Coaching gives your child a safe, encouraging space that’s just for them where they can explore their thoughts and feelings, build new skills, and discover the strengths they already have inside. It’s not therapy, and it’s not tutoring. It’s about equipping your child with practical tools to handle life’s challenges while boosting their confidence and resilience.
Through creative activities, fun games, and gentle mindset techniques, I help children to:
The beauty of coaching is that it’s future-focused. We don’t just talk about the problem, we work together to find solutions, build habits, and practise skills that your child can carry into everyday life.
Most importantly, children often leave sessions smiling, lighter, and with a sense of pride that grows each week. And as a parent, you’ll notice the difference too: more calm, more confidence, and a child who feels ready to face the world with courage.

Homework doesn’t have to be a battle. My Homework Power Hour is designed to support KS3 students in building the skills and strategies they need to succeed. Whether it’s learning how to understand tricky command words, planning extended writing, or breaking tasks into manageable steps, this focused session helps children feel more in control. It can be a one-off boost before a deadline or a regular slot to build confidence, organisation, and independence. I also support with preparing for class tests and developing strong early exam skills.

For teenagers facing the pressure of GCSEs, revision often feels overwhelming. My Mastering Exams programme equips KS4 students with practical study skills and proven techniques for effective revision. We cover memory strategies, time management, and how to approach different types of exam questions with confidence. Sessions also include stress management and wellbeing support, from simple breathing tools to nutrition advice and even gentle alternative therapies like aromatherapy helping students feel calmer, healthier, and exam-ready.

I offer tailored music tuition specialising in beginners. For singers, I provide a supportive space to learn how to breathe well, use your voice safely, and sing with confidence. For budding flautists, I introduce the fundamentals of this beautiful instrument, developing tone, technique, and musicality step by step.

I offer specialist support in GCSE & KS3 Music. Whether your child needs help building composition skills, preparing for the listening paper or you'd like to bring some music into home schooling, I bring over 25 years of teaching experience to guide them. My lessons make music accessible and engaging, while boosting exam performance and overall confidence in music.

Music theory is an important skill for young musicians, particularly with Grade 5 being a pre-requisite for the higher ABRSM grades. For musicians who already read music, grade 5 can usually be achieved with 10 hours tuition and homework in between (no need to do lower grades). I can offer this online or in person - either as 1 hour sessions or an intensive bootcamp of 5 x 2 hour sessions - individual or group sessions available. Other grades are also available or simply general music theory.
Looking for a party with a difference? Crafty Minds Parties combine creativity, movement, and confidence-building for an unforgettable experience. Designed for 8–11 year olds, these two-hour sessions are packed with fun activities that let children express themselves through hands-on crafts, music and movement games. Every child takes home the unique creations they’ve made, so the memories last long after the party ends. Perfect for up to 8 children, all materials are included. You just bring the guests, and I’ll bring the fun, energy, and inspiration!
